2 volumes, 2° (540 x 400mm). Engraved title, index of maps to each volume, 135 double-page engraved maps, hand-coloured in outline, after d'Anville, Janvier, Bellin, Robert de Vaugondy, Rizzi-Zannoni and others. (Some minor staining to first few leaves in volume I.) Contemporary Italian mottled calf (worn, joints cracked, upper spine compartment of volume II lacking).

Santini's attractive maps cover every region of the world, and include the maps of ancient geography bound in at the end. This later issue of the Santini Atlas collates in accordance with the National Maritime Museum copy in Greenwich, with the omission of the second map of Italy at the beginning of volume II.
