Two opaque-twist and an airtwist ratafia-glasses
Circa 1765 and Circa 1750
The first with a slender flared hammered bowl, the stem enclosing a gauze core encircled by two spiral three-ply threads, on a conical foot, 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high; the second engraved with a band of stylised flowers and foliage above hammered flutes, the stem enclosing four corkscrew twists, on a conical foot, 7¾in. (19.5cm.) high; the third with honeycomb-moulding to the lower part of the bowl, the stem filled with spiral airtwist threads, above a conical foot, 7 5/8in. (19.5cm.) high (3)
