Naturalistically incised and gilt on both slightly domed sides with a bird perched on and within scrolling flowering foliage supporting four further birds, reserved on a seeded ground, the edge of both box and cover with six winged clouds, some gilding rubbed
1 7/8in. (1.8cm.) diam.
