Early 19th Century
Decorated in gold and silver hiramakie on a muranashiji ground with Tokugawa aoi mon among peony and scrolling foliage, the lift-off top with mokkogata piercing inset with wire-mesh netting, the lower part fitted with a wide deep drawer applied with a silver loose ring handle, the sides with heart-shaped openings, (some old wear and damage)
