A large lacquer bowl
Signed Shunsei, late 19th century
The kinji ground well finely decorated with Daruma and Rakan, the former holding a reishi sceptre, in gold hiramakie, takamakie, kirikane, kimpun, nashijii and gold foil, and ivory, coral and glass inlay, the border similarly decorated with mon and roundels containing various flowers, the reverse in nashiji, the foot rim with two small metal rimmed holes for hanging, (some minor old wear)
