The first signed Choshu Hagi ju Kaneko Chubei Yukiharu, 18th/19th Century
Circular iron Choshu carved in relief with a mountain landscape, 8cm.; circular iron Namban pierced with two dragons and decorated with gold nunome zogan, 7cm.; iron in the form of kawara [tile] decorated with a lizard and a spider, 6.2cm.; oval iron Bushu decorated with carved hishi patterns between pierced cherry blossom flowerheads, 8.2cm.; oval iron with a dragon among waves, later Jingo, (slightly scratched), 8.3cm.; irregularly shaped iron Umetada tsuba pierced with a design of plum tree, 7cm.; circular iron decorated with a rice sheaf, details in gold nunome zogan, 7.3cm.; rounded-square pierced Owari style, 7.8cm.; and two aoi-gata brass tsuba, one carved with kiku flowerheads, 6.7cm. and 8.5cm. respectively (10)
