Signed Zohiko in seal form, Late 18th/early 19th Century
Decorated in gold, silver and iroe takamakie, hiramakie, kirikane and okibirame, the cover with mountains and palaces among mountains beside a river, the inside cover similarly decorated with a mountain and riverscape with tachibana, kiku, matsu, willow and birds, with dividing tray, a fitted inkstone and silver suiteki modelled as cherry blossom and maple leaf decorated in gilt, the rims in silver, with fitted wood box
