cover 1885 (Oct.) envelope to "De Volksstem" at Pretoria bearing uncancelled 1885 "Twee" on 4d. in combination with Cape 1d. pair (partly overlapping the left side of cover) tied by "BARKLY/G.W." c.d.s. (24.10) and showing, on reverse, Kimberley (26.10) and Pretoria c.d.s.; the envelope with some light stains, mainly around adhesives. Very rare. R.P.S.
