Sold with a collection of five photographs of Czech musicians, including: Leos Janacek. Fine cabinet photograph showing the composer head and shoulders, signed and dated on the margin, (134 x 83mm.) and another showing the composer in later life with friends - Jan Kubelik. Fine cabinet photograph (134 x 83mm.) and another showing him with the composer and conductor Oskar Nedbal.
Janacek's opera The Makropulos Affair was composed between 1923 and 1925 and first performed in Brno in 1926.
