etching with drypoint, circa 1653, second (final) state, a good impression with touches of burr, with part of a Fleur-de-Lys in a Shield (?) watermark, with narrow margins, an approx. 22mm. vertical repaired tear in the sky at the centre, the lower left corner re-attatched, a very small backed loss at the left sheet edge, a nick in the lower right margin, a small stain on the slope above the sportsman, the Gersaint/Daulby number '203' in pen and brown ink upper left, a soft diagonal crease upper right
