lithograph printed in olive-green, 1893, on wove paper, second (final) state, a fine impression, with the artist's red monogram stamp (L. 1338), numbered 'No. 6' in pencil, from the edition of 80, published by E. Kleinmann, Paris, with his blindstamp (L. 1573), the full sheet as published, a small repaired area at the upper right sheet corner, a short fold at the extreme upper left sheet corner, otherwise generally in very good condition

Lot Essay

Madam Satan was a Singspiel composed by Ernest Blum and Raoul Toché, which had its première on 26 September 1893 in the Théâtre des Variétés with Marcelle Lender, and the operetta singer Albert Brasseur, in the leading roles.
