A French coromandel lacquer bureau mazarin
late 17th/early 18th century
Decorated with stylised rocks, with trees blossoming stems and floral sprays with clouds, the top with a lily border and a moulded brass edge, the undulating lower part with a long frieze drawer with a recessed enclosed panelled door below, flanked by two drawers to either side, on square tapered legs joined by later cross stretchers and bun feet, the colouring refreshed, some lacquer of a later date
