The present drawing is related, in reverse, to an oval print, part of the series Plusieurs têtes coiffées à la persienne, A. De Vesme, Stefano della Bella, New York, 1971, no. 192, illustrated. The series was published by Israel Henriet just before Stefano's move from Paris to Florence in 1650: one plate is dated 1650, another 1649.
