An Attic black-figure mastoid cup
Circa 500 B.C.
White ground, painted within, the flat base unpainted, ivy leaf below each handle
A: Large pair of eyes with brows, between them a naked youth walking to right, his head turned back, holding cloak in left hand, added red and white detail
B: Large pair of eyes with brows, between them a naked bearded male figure walking to right, head turned back over his shoulder, added red and white detail, (repaired from a few fragments, two sections of lip restored)
