Circa 460-450 B.C.
Interior with reserved line around lip, within a reserved band containing meander and chequerboard frieze between two circles, symposium scene: a youth sits on a couch showing back view, his legs drawn up in front of him, leaning slightly on a pillow to his left, to his right a draped youth stands behind the couch, a small writing box hangs in the field between them
A and B: From left, standing draped youth leaning on staff talks to another who walks away from him but turns head back to hear, third youth holds staff and speaks to fourth youth who faces him, in three-quarter view, leaning on his staff, his face half hidden in his shoulder, ornaments hang in the field, lotus buds conjoined by tendrils to each side of handle and encircled palmette below handles, relief contour throughout, (repaired from fragments with restoration)
