With horizontal handles, black glazed interior and exterior, reserved band above black edged foot, underside reserved with broad black circle, decorated in white and yellow with ovolo between two incised lines around rim, below rim A: register of wave pattern, incised lines and dots above grapevines that run horizontally and vertically to frame a hare, red is used for the stalk white and yellow for leaves and bunches of grapes, hare shown leaping to left with head turned backwards, wreath and ornament in the field, B: groups of three dots, two rosettes between vertical ivy sprays, incised detail for vertical stalks, yellow and white for rest, (intact); and an Apulian gnathia ware lekythos, with reserved band where foot meets body, reserved underside, vertical white rays around the neck and at base of handle, two bands of yellow twists between white lines above and below central zone of diagonal cross-hatched decoration covering most of body, (intact)
