Two Old Babylonian haematite cylinder seals
Circa 1850-1750 B.C.
One showing the goddess, Ishtar, with her foot on a lion and weapons rising from her shoulders, holding a double lion-headed mace and scimitar, another goddess behind, being approached by a worshipper holding an animal offering, a cuneiform inscription reads "Shamash", the sun-god, flanked on either side by a hero in contest with a bull-man, minor chips; and another, the goddess, Ishtar, with her foot on a lion which she keeps hold of on a long leash, a scimitar and double lion-headed sceptre in her hand, being approached by a king with a mace, a suppliant goddess with hands raised behind
