A creamware 'Sailor' Toby-jug of Ralph Wood type
Circa 1780, impressed 65
Conventionally modelled holding a glass of ale with a jug at his side in black hat, streaked brown frock-coat, green waistcoat and blue striped pantaloons, seated on a chair beneath a rectangular sea-chest, an anchor between his feet (head repaired, part of hat and handle a restored replacement, handle of jug lacking, crack to back)
