A GEORGE II MAHOGANY ESTATE CABINET
The rectangular dentilled cornice above a blind geometrically-decorated frieze and a pair of concave cut cornered panelled doors enclosing a fitted interior with thirty-three pigeon holes and three small mahogany-lined drawers, the pigeon holes with scrolled aprons and ivory-inlaid letters of the alphabet, the lower section with a pair of conforming panelled doors enclosing two compartments each with three adjustable shelves, on shaped bracket feet, with paper label to the inside of one door printed '30 DEC 1942' and inscribed in ink '252', the locks replaced, with two shelves replaced, restorations and replacements, lacking two alphabet letters
