Banded overall with a foliate border, the rectangular moulded cornice above a long cushion drawer and a panelled fall-front enclosing a green simulated leather-lined writing-surface and a fitted interior of variously-sized drawers, pigeon holes, four secret drawers all arranged around a central door, the lower section with two short part blue paper-lined drawers and two long conforming drawers on later shaped bracket feet, previously with bun feet, the fall-front supports replaced, restorations to veneer
