Two inscribed rummers
Early 19th Century
The first cut with waved bands of diamond ornament and reserved with an oval panel inscribed PROSPERITY TO DEMERARY above cut gadroons, on a fluted waisted stem and square base, 6 3/8in. (16cm.) high; the second with a tapering ovoid bowl inscribed TOWN AND COUNTRY TRADE OF NOTTINGHAM, on a rudimentary stem and plain foot, 5 1/8in. (13cm.) high (2)
