A Ludwigsburg miniature satirical group
Circa 1765, blue interlaced C mark
With a courtier with an excessively large hairbow being helped through an archway by his servant, an amused peasant onlooker peering over a wall and a peacock perched on a wall behind, in coloured and gilt clothes, on a rectangular base mottled in green and brown (restoration to courtier's left arm and hand, edge of tail of peacock, part of hairbow and wall below peacock repaired, tip of courtier's sword lacking)
