A pair of Meissen models of Leopards
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords marks at back
Modelled by J.J. Kändler to left and right, one snarling and the other with his paw on a joint of meat, their coats lightly marked in brown and with black patches, on shaped oval rockwork bases applied with flowers (one with ears chipped, the other with ears repaired, minute chipping to teeth of lower jaw, one with restored footrim chip, the other with chip at back)
