Manuscript on ivory paper, 359ff. each with 13ll. text,, the first, middle and last in strong red muhaqqaq in gold dotted panels, the other 10 in fine black naskh between polychrome illuminated panels, gold florets between verses, gold margin between black rules, red inner and blue outer rule, illuminated marginal medallions marking the divisions of text, blue outer rule, sura headings in red naskh, slight damages and darkening of edges, occasional repairs, opening bifolio with full page illumination, some damages and restoration, final folio with colophon signed by Isma'il b. al-Sayyid Muhammad al-Husayni at Mocha in Rabi'I 1184, tan morocco binding with stamped medallion and amusing spandrels, scuffed, spine strengthened
