The indigo field with an overall design of angular arabesques linking and enclosing large palmettes and flanked by angular stylised floral vine, inner zigzag and plant-motif frame, in a shaded indigo border of rosettes divided by part lozenges together with hooked panels and serrated leaves between golden yellow flowerhead stripes, outer shaded blue lozenge and panel stripe, reduced in length, areas of some wear and reweave
