A French ormolu-mounted white marble mantel clock

Surmounted by a pair of doves, above the drum-shaped case, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and pierced hands, the twin-train movement with countwheel strike on a bell, hung below with tied oak and laurel branches and musical trophies and with a Mercury sunburst pendulum, flanked to each side by a shaped column with lyre surmount and scrolled side volute with acorn finial and trailing foliage, the shaped base with a pair of putti, the front inset with relief panels of playful putti, between foliate rosettes, on toupie feet
