The rectangular top inset with a tan leather and gilt-tooled writing surface, above three frieze drawers, the sides each centred with a Bacchic mask, on shaped scrolled legs headed by a satyr mask, on scrolled acanthus-cast feet, the brass lock-plates stamped Portois & Fix Wien 802
