The first signed Unzan Seizo beneath Satsuma-mon, late 19th Century
On three legs and decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt with two panels, one depicting a couple surrounded by attendants in a flowering garden, the other of warriors arriving at a gate, the cover with bands of hanabishi design beneath flowers and double gourd shaped finial and handles; a Satsuma vase decorated with a peony in a vase, signed Tokozan beneath Satsuma-mon; a honeycomb-shaped Satsuma jar, the neck with a gilt band above keyfret, the shoulders with a band of lappets each filled with flowers, signed Satsuma Hei zo and Kao
