The rectangular top with three-quarter pierced-brass gallery and green leather-lined sloping hinged writing-surface enclosing two small partridge-fronted cedar-lined drawers and two conforming drawers, above a fitted ink-drawer and a slide to the right-hand side and four graduated drawers on bracket feet, brass caps and castors, one back leg spliced
