The channelled cartouche-shaped back with foliate angles, the arms and the drop-in seat covered in later gros and petit point needlework with a central cartouche with a mythological figure of a maiden gesturing to a parrot, within foliate and floral borders, the out and down-scrolled arms above the waved seat with C-scrolls and on cabriole legs headed by a fan-motif and terminating in raised scrolls
