A German circular priming-flask, and a North African powder-flask
The first circa 1600, the second 19th Century
The first of ebonised wood (some cracks), the front domed, turned with concentric circles, and with central white staghorn roundel, thin iron strap carrying the nozzle, spring tap, and two rings for suspension (one missing); the second with domed front, entirely covered in tooled leather decorated with dome-headed brass tacks, and with two brass rings for suspension
