A DUTCH EBONY, EBONISED AND FLORAL MARQUETRY CENTRE TABLE
Inlaid overall with fruitwood lines, the rectangular crossbanded top inlaid with roses, tulips, carnations and other flowers issuing from a gadrooned vase, the ivory and green-stained foliate sprigs supporting birds above a foliate platform, the frieze inlaid with similar panels, on spirally-twisted legs joined by a waved X-shaped stretcher and on bun feet, restorations, reconstructed in the 19th Century using earlier marquetry panels
