The engine-turned gilt dial with painted Roman chapter ring engraved Viner & Co., London, simple blued steel hands, the four pillar single fusee movement with anchor escapement, pendulum holdfast to the backplate engraved with a similar signature, the well-proportioned case with gadrooned mouldings to the chamfered top, brass line-inlaid sides and on brass acorn feet; original oak travelling case with chamois leather padded lining and original winding key
