A LARGE SILVER-INLAID BRONZE STANDING FIGURE OF GUANYIN
18th century
Naturalistically cast turning slightly to the left with hands and forearms exposed before her, wearing loose flowing robes embellished with cloud-scrolls and a hem of scrolling lotus in silver thread, open at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace of seeded studs, with tranquil expression and hooded eyes below the silver urna, high tiara and cowl, the reverse with a four-character inscription in seal-script, one arm reattached
