cover An interesting old album of entires, covers and a few cards, the strength is in Germany including a number of pre-stamp entires showing a variety of town and instructional h.s., adhesive period with Prussia, North German Confederation, Reich with small and large shield Eagles, 1875-77 "Pfennige" values to 50pf.(2), 1894 cover from German New Guinea to Germany bearing New South Wales 2½d. pair cancelled in Sydney, six catapult mail covers (1932-35) from the "Europa" or "Bremen" addressed to U.S.A., 1917 covers (3) bearing 2m. adhesives addressed to Bremen and all marked "Tauchbootbrief", 1906-11 1m. to 5m. on individual registered covers, also Great Britain including Ship Letter handstamps, Papal States. Overall condition a little mixed, however an interesting and original family collection. (266)
