Painted on the white ground in shades of blue, green, yellow, sepia and manganese against a ground of stripes and dots with a blackamoor astride a horse, the underside in manganese with concentric lines, loss of glaze to horse's haunch, man's chest and left calf, chip to underside of rim at 12 o'clock
