Comprising one armchair and three side chairs, each rounded back with pierced lyre-form splat and husk-carved crest, the padded saddle seat upholstered in ivory patterned silk, on turned legs headed by a leaf-tip band, one with fluted legs (4)

Specialist note

A set of four chairs of this model were sold in these Rooms, 28 January 1989, lot 49 and again, 24 January 1992, lot 260, and another set of twelve was sold by Sotheby's New York, 15 April 1994, lot 272.
