(53.3cm.) diam., made of delicately colored paper gores (some old damages) printed with the constellations, star magnitude chart, stars and planets, with engraved brass hour circle at the north celestial pole, the brass meridian circle engraved on both sides and rim and inscribed at the north celestial pole polar distances, the printed horizan ring similarly colored and engraved with zodiac and calendar scales and raised on three quadrant supports, the mahogany stand with reeded turned supports joined by turned stetchers and a 8½in.
