A WHITE JADE HANGING VASE AND GILT-BRONZE STAND

The vase of flattened pear shape with pedestal foot carved in shallow relief on either side at mid-body with a taotie mask set below bowstring borders below archaistic designs on the shoulder, with vertical bands of notched flanges on the narrow sides below each of the scrolled handles to which loops at the base of the arched handle are attached, the white stone softly polished, minute rim chips; the gilt-bronze stand with a foliate scroll super-structure suspending a double, faceted hook from a ruyi head, some of the surface with matte texture
