A MOTTLED GREEN JADE EWER
18TH/19TH CENTURY

Of rectangular section, well carved in high relief with a chilong crawling up one side in pursuit of a flaming pearl, with a dragon scroll handle at one end and a phoenix standing on an outcropping of rock below the spout, the stone softly polished and of soft moss-green color with blackish veining and speckling throughout
