The sides carved in high relief with scholars and attendants in a mountainous river landscape overhung with craggy rocks and the boughs of a wutong tree and the two pine trees which form the handle at one end, the boughs continuing over the rim into the interior, of deep honey color shading to deep reddish brown on the interior, some losses 6 3/8in. (16.2cm.) long
