A GREEN-GLAZED RED POTTERY FIGURE OF A DOG
HAN DYNASTY

Heavily potted, the stocky animal shown standing four square with head facing forward, ears alertly pricked and tail curled up onto the back, wearing an elaborate harness set at the base of the neck with a loop, the details of the face and the decorative motifs on the body deeply scored, all under a thin, dark green glaze falling irregularly onto the knife-pared legs, minor restoration
