The large inro of rectangular shape decorated with a continuous scene of Rosei dreaming of immortality in gold and red in takamaki-e, hiramakie, and kirigane on a kinji ground embellished with nashiji, the dream rendered on the reverse side in togidashi and matching kinji, the interior cases fundame; fitted with a kagamibuta netsuke, the metal plate worked with another figure of Rosei dreaming, signed Shuraku--3 5/8in. (9.2cm.) high
