The large rectangular box decorated in iro-e takamaki-e on a fundame ground with simulated iron and soft-metal tsuba and kozuka, after those by various metal workers including Hagiya Katsuhira, Seiro, Funada Ikkin and Shomin, the interior of the box and the upper edge bright nashiji--9 5/8 x 7¾ x 5 1/8in. (24.5 x 19.7 x 13cm.)
