Of rectangular shape fitted with nine drawers, lacquered on the exterior in gold takamaki-e with falcons, a landscape and hunting accoutrements on the sides and with falcon feathers across the top, the interiors of the drawers roiro-nuri, applied with copper mounts chased with foliate scroll, silver pulls--17¾ x 11¾ x 17in. (45.2 x 30 x 43.2cm.), vertical split through back panel
