Of ovoid form with waisted neck applied with a large eagle flying over rocks and cresting waves, partially chiselled in the body of the vase and the foam silvered, the lichen on the rocks gilt, the neck inlaid in colored soft metal with a necklace of paulownia scroll--12in. (30.2cm.) high
