A SILVER TEA-URN, maker's mark of Galt & Bro., circa 1905, in the neoclassical taste, the vase form body on four flattened columnar supports on hairy lion's paw feet, all on square base on four bun feet, the base with detachable burner, the panelled baluster spout with ivory handle, the body monogrammed and engraved with date 1905, with two part engraved upswept handles, the shoulder engraved with running ivy band, repeated on the spool form cover, with baluster ivory finial--17in. (43.1cm.) high, gross weight 89oz.
