FAULKNER, WILLIAM (1897-1962). Photograph inscribed and signed ("Bill"), n.p., n.d. [circa 1937]. 252 x 203 mm. (9 7/8 x 8 in.) including margins; matted. A fine shoulder-length portrait, holding his pipe, inscribed to the great love of his life, Meta Rebner [Meta Carpenter Wilde], on the right side of the photograph: "To Meta from Bill 3 April 37." Inscribed photographs of Faulkner are very rare.
