Circular, on three pomegranate feet headed by applied acanthus, with tubular scroll handle, the hinged domed cover chased with foliage and with bifurcated pomegranate thumbpiece, the cover engraved with the inscription S:H: PEDER JORGENSON J ANNE PEDERS DATTER 1686, the sides engraved with figures within medallions and FIDES, SPES, PATIENTIA, and CHARITAS inscribed above, also with the inscription TROU HAAB GUFVER OS HUO PAA OCH FRELSIS, GOT TAAL GUDS GUNST GUD TROER AF SORRIG, and KIERLIGHED OFVER HLD OCHNAADE HAND TRYGELIG BOER OCH WAADE engraved near base, also prick engraved with owner's names and dates, marked under base
