the complete set of seventeen unsigned aquatints in colors, hors-texte, the colors exceptionally bright and fresh, eighty-two woodcuts after Rouault in-texte, title, text, and justification, on Montval, copy 114 of 250 (copies 1-35 on Japon Imperial with a suite of the black states; copies 36-250 as here; there were also 30 hors-commerce), the aquatints loose, very minor time staining, otherwise in excellent condition, original wove paper wrapper (minor foxing). 455 x 345mm.
